Looking for love can be ruff. Dating is unnerving and finding The One can feel like you’re chasing your tail. Imagine how much easier it would be with a four-legged friend by your side.
The entire open-air courtyard at The Newtown Hotel will be sectioned off, making an intimate setting for you, your potential soulmate, and, most importantly, your pooch.[related_articles]53312,51720[/related_articles]
It’s a BYOD (bring your own dog) event, but Maggie’s rescue will be on site with some foster dogs you can pretend are yours for the afternoon if you’re currently pup-less.
Attendees will go on close to 20 dates, with plenty of beer and burger breaks for you to paws and consider your potential matches.
This particular event caters to heterosexual and bi-sexual-identifying guests aged between 22 and 38. Tickets are $17, including a booking fee. Guests will also have the chance to purchase some raffle tickets, with loads of prizes up for grabs, like a $400 dollar voucher for Pet Resorts Australia and $100 worth of dog food.
All of profits will go to Maggie’s Rescue, an animal welfare charity.
You’d be barking mad to pass up this opportunity. Book your tickets here.
