London Is Getting A Playground For Adults

If you’ve ever walked wistfully past a public playground and wished you could take a turn on the equipment without the risk of getting stuck, now’s your opportunity: A playground for adults will pop up next to a public swimming pool in Hackney’s London Fields for one weekend from July 29 to 30.

9Nine, the company behind the concept, have promised the playground will feature adult-sized equipment, like slides, swings and seesaws, and will open it up for free one-hour visits with the intention of improving the mental health of stressed-out office types.

They’ll also be accepting donations from attendees to support local play initiatives and outdoor activities.
