Not content to let Japan have the world’s first karaoke Ferris wheel, organisers for 2018’s much-anticipated Sydney Festival have gone and thrown a dang karaoke carousel into the mix.
Yep, for almost a month, Sydneysiders and visitors to the city will have their chance to belt out their favourite song on a “pogoing” unicorn in Sydney’s stunning Hyde Park.
A playlist of “all-time tragic karaoke hits” will be available for perusal and performance if you need a little inspiration. A $5 ticket buys you rights to one song/ride, so we suggest choosing something by Meatloaf or Queen if you want to stretch out the experience.

For more information or to book the Village Sideshow Priority Pass ($20 per person), visit the website, and check out the full festival schedule here.
