Say hello to the To Sua Ocean Trench.
Though it looks like something out of The Lost World, you can find this magical spot near the village of Lotofaga on the south coast of Upolu island in Samoa.

‘To Sua’ literally translates to ‘gigantic swimming hole’, and this piece of magic is surrounded by beautifully green gardens so you can float on your back while spotting butterflies, tropical birds and even a few lizards.

The swimming hole is about 30 metres down a ladder that has been installed to allow visitors to access the hidden lagoon. The currents are usually pretty mellow but can get a bit choppy if the weather is stormy.
Entry to the To Sua Ocean Trench is 20 Tala ($10AUD) and it’s open from 7am ’til 6pm daily.
