You Can See Courtney Barnett Play At Australia’s Most Famous Zoo

The Twilight At Taronga music series will be returning to Sydney’s Taronga Zoo next year with a collection of musicians and music lovers descending on Twilight’s harbour-side amphitheatre in late January.

The 2016 Summer Concert Series kicks off with a live performance by Courtney Barnett on Thursday January 28, followed by singer-songwriter Josh Pyke the following night. Twilight is boasting their most diverse lineup to date with acts like John Butler Trio, The Waifs and Birds of Tokyo sharing the same stage as crowd favourites Bjorn Again, the Violent Femmes and legendary South African a cappella group Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Oh, and here’s the view you can expect.

Not too bad, right?

All proceeds from the Twilight at Taronga concert series go to the Taronga Conservation Society Australia, a non-for-profit organisation working to help wildlife conservation, scientific research and environmental sustainability. 2016 also marks the centennial year of Taronga Zoo so expect some extra special activities and events on the horizon for next year.
